Minority Entrepreneurship

Growth Grant

FCFE is committed to providing accessibility to superior CFO services for ALL entrepreneurs. 
 

MEGG (Minority Entrepreneurship Growth Grant) upholds the primary F.C.F.E. goal of guaranteeing services to underserved communities. MEGG recipients benefit from money management services to aid in their sustained growth, profitability, and compliance with local and state tax laws at a substantially subsidized rate. 
 
To further sustainability, we identify strategic partnerships to help our clients gain visibility and garner relationships with high-profile institutions to better position them for financial security and enterprise growth support.

Eligibility:

At least 51% owned and operated by a person of color, including Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Asian American owners, or a woman.

Be in business for at least 2 years.

Make a minimum of $4000/month (over the past 6 months).

Getting Started

Checklist

A few things you may need are...

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)

  • Articles of incorporation

  • By-laws

  • Up to three years of annual tax returns for the applicant entity

  • Evidence of site control (i.e., lease agreement, property tax record, deed)

  • Financial statements (profit/loss statement, balance sheet)

  • Financial documents such as bank or credit statement to verify matching funds for project

  • Corporate resolution with name and title of person(s) authorized to sign for organization

  • Corporate resolution or letter of approval from Board of Directors

  • Board of Director Member List
